History
In February 1991, Bob and Janet Sanders were given
a vision from God of a ministry/retreat center where broken and
hurting people could stay and be ministered to by the body of Christ.
Using the verses in the first chapter of 2 Corinthians, Bob and
Janet, after experiencing many life difficulties themselves, wanted
to offer inner healing to people from a biblical standpoint.
Using the early church described in the book of Acts
as an example, Hephzibah Ministries, Inc. became a reality in 1996,
when it became incorporated and given nonprofit tax-exempt status
as a church.

Vision
To have a center/retreat to minister prayer, counsel
and fellowship to those needing physical, emotional and spiritual
healing.
Because the Lord delights in us and gives us all
comfort, we want to teach others how Jesus' healing power will free
them to live their lives victorious in Christ, no matter what circumstances
may come.
This center/retreat will be in a tranquil setting
with food and lodging provided.

Mission Statement
